I'm familiar with gparted and partitions in general. So I guess I need to create the EFI, and possibly grub-bios partitions manually? Or is there a utility to do this for me? If not, I need pretty detailed info on how to do this. Research seems to say that this iMac is a 64bit cpu (Intel), but the UEFI(?) system is only 32bit so needs the EFI(?) partitions and info to be 32bit. ![]() It won't see the Mint flash drive at all as a bootable medium. to any of the installers on the drive (each installer is separate partition). I have a MacOS installer flash drive (Amazon) with several versions of MacOS on it and it boots fine. Trying to install Mint Mate 19.3, 32 bit on a very old 2006 24" iMac. ![]() ![]() ![]() As in the past, I've used rufus to put a linux live/install ISO to a flash drive.
